About the book:
Klaun: clown
The origin of modern clowns can be traced to the Dark Ages and a tribe of nomadic entertainers known as "The Klaun." This kindhearted clan had an exceptionally colorful culture, and one of their customs was to dab their noses with a spot of red. Today, the red nose and many other clowning traditions (some innocent, some nefarious) are derived from ancient Klaun customs.

This book contains an interview with Jesper the Klaun, during which Jesper reveals his people's secret origin story as he explains how two factions of Klaun/clowns have been at war with one another for centuries. This clandestine clown war has recently spun so out of control that Jesper feels compelled to alert society and reveal the existence of the Klaun.
